Five Delicious Vegan Smoothie Recipes (plus bonus pudding recipe!)

With the warmer months approaching, it’s definitely nice to have a cold, tasty smoothie to enjoy with our breakfast. Although many smoothie recipes contain dairy, we believe the best ones are made from only the best ingredients–without animal products.

We’ve put together a list of our top five delicious vegan smoothie recipes for anybody to enjoy!

Disclaimer: the amount of each ingredient can vary depending on your specific taste and what you enjoy!

 


Strawberry Vegan Smoothie


The strawberry flavoured smoothie tends to be most people’s go-to. Not only is it absolutely delicious, but it makes for a great photo op!


What you’ll need: 

  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup vanilla coconut (non-dairy) yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Blend until smooth! If you prefer your smoothies thicker, go ahead and add ice. If you prefer them thinner, add more coconut milk!

Blackberry-Banana Vegan Smoothie


Blackberries are the absolute best–there’s no doubt about that! Add some banana into the mix and it’s even more tasty. 


What you’ll need:

  • 1 large frozen banana (break into chunks)
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ½ tbsp chia seeds

Blend, blend, blend–and you’re good to go! You can also add a handful of spinach to get some greens in!

Green Vegan Smoothie


Green smoothies are so, so good and so, so good for you! They’re a great way to get some greens in if you don’t like the taste of them too much.


What you’ll need:

  • ½ cup frozen fruit of your choice (mango and banana are the best!)
  • ½ cup different frozen fruit of your choice (again! Peaches, pineapple, and strawberries are great to mix with the above options!)
  • 2-3 cup baby spinach
  • ½ tbsp hemp seeds
  • ¾ cup almond milk (add more if too thick for your taste)

If it weren’t for the color, you wouldn’t even know it was a green smoothie!

Mango Vegan Smoothie

There’s nothing quite like a mango smoothie–truly! Just one taste and you feel like you’re on vacation.


What you’ll need:

  • ½ frozen banana
    • 1 cup frozen mango 
    • ½ unsweetened oat milk

    This one’s super simple, which makes it perfect for a quick breakfast when you have little time!

    Blueberry Vegan Smoothie


    Every time blueberries are in the mix, It feels like dessert! This smoothie is fantastic any time of the day.


    What you’ll need:

    • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    • 1 large banana (halved)
    • 2 cups frozen blueberries
    • ¼ cup vegan blueberry yogurt

    You can also add even more blueberries to taste. If you’re able, try it with wild blueberries–they’re delicious!

    Bonus: Blueberry Chia Pudding!

    Doesn't this dessert look magnificent? Our blueberry chia pudding recipe serves two but it's so good, you might not want to share!

    What you’ll need:

    • 6 tbsp whole chia seeds
    • 400 ml plant-based milk
    • 120 coconut yogurt
    • 200g frozen blueberries (thawed)
    • maple syrup
    • 2 large handfuls of granola
    • 2 Blueberry Blast Karma Bars

    How to make it:

    1. Mix together plant-based milk, chia seeds, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, and coconut yogurt and place in the fridge overnight. Stir up after the first hour to ensure the chia seeds are well dispersed.
    2. Blend blueberries to a puree with 1tbsp of syrup
    3. Layer the granola and half of the chia pudding in jars. Mix the remainder of the chia pudding with the blueberry puree. Top with coconut yogurt, fresh blueberries, and a chopped up Blueberry Blast Karma Bar.
    4. (Optional) To create "Karma Bites," warm the Karma bars in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, break each bar into 3, and roll into balls
    5. Enjoy!
